E121-120 Carl Mays SGC 3 Centered
Offered for sale here is a very nice example of the infamous Carl Mays from 1921 American Caramel E121 series of 120. The card has near perfectly centering with excellent registration and clarity. The corners are square but not razor sharp. No visible creasing is apparent. The back is clean. There is some edge wear and toning in the borders. Mays is famous for throwing the pitch that beaned Ray Chapman in 1920 causing his death. This is a great card
