I'm sure some of you have seen this before, but it was new to me. Here's a really great NY Giants team photo from 1909 that was used as teh source photo for 11 different T206 cards. The photo isn't mine, so I've shared the instagram link. Makes me wonder if there are any other similar photos that spawned several T206 cards.

I've never seen that before, thanks for posting. It'd be a pretty nice T206 portrait card if they used the photo of that big guy in the middle.

It's a shame they didn't turn the guy on the far left into a card. That would've had a fun look to it.
Edited to add: just realized that fine gentleman is Rube Marquard.

Trying to find the appropriate creator to credit. As far as I can tell it was a redditor by the handle of MaxActionJackson. If anyone can confirm, I'll update the post with the proper attribution. This is too good to go unacknowledged

When the picture was posted years ago, it was so well received that Leon had it made into a Net54baseball pin that he handed out at one of the Nationals!

Its nice to see people appreciating this piece long after I made it. Thanks everyone.
At some point I would love to put something together with all the baseball card art I've made

One of my favorite original posts (thanks maxjacks)—and thanks for today’s reminder. I would love to see someone with digital talent create mock T206s of the guys in the photo who did NOT get 460-only subjects.

Wasn't there also a Net54 t-shirt with that image? I miss the different t-shirts. I have worn all of mine out.
