Circa 1920s/30s Basketball Hoop For Sale with Net and Box
Hi-
I have the basketball rim, net, and what is left of the original box pictured below for sale. I am asking 350.00 or best offer. The box is in horrible condition but it is from Collette Manufacturing in New York. The box originally held two hoops and nets as well as a ball and more. I am guessing at the exact age. The basketball is separated in two words on the box and the net is closed at the bottom. I know Collette was definitely manufacturing other sports items in the 1930s, but I am not sure when they started making basketball items. I can send better pictures if needed. While the box is in horrible condition, the net and rim are in nice condition. Alan
