Ty Cobb Enamel Whiskey Sign - Ends 7/11 at 8 pm EST
This colorful sign measures 10x14 inches and was produced by Windsor Canadian Whiskey in 1990 as part of a limited edition series. It's in excellent condition and has been part of my personal collection for 30 years.
This sign series was produced by the same process used to create many of the old signs seen in ballparks in the early 1900s. Porcelain enamel inks and a six-color screening process are used to create the infinite range of colors that are then fixed onto the 18-gauge steel plate. This process insures the plaque will last a lifetime, indoors or out, without cracking or chipping. The artwork for this sign was created by Dean Kennedy of Waterloo Iowa. I added this to my Cobb collection back in the early '90s after winning it in a live auction at a Detroit card show. Now I'm ready to pass it on
Starting bid is $15, with $1 increments. Add $12 to help with USPS priority shipping. Ends at 8 pm EST on Sunday, July 11. Good luck in bidding!
