Vintage Yankee Premiums?
I've seen a few listings from a seller for Yankee Premiums (Dimaggio, McCarthy, Rizzuto, Joe Gordon, Gehrig, Lazzeri, Lefty Gomez, etc.)
The Dimaggio "Premium" seems to be the same photo used in the 1954 Berk Ross. Assuming they're legitimate, they'd date from 1936-1939 based on the players. Can you help me ID the series? Thanks.

They're not that old. The design was ubiquitous in the late 1940s-early 1950s. My guess is that Cosmopolitan or National, which were huge photographers in the day, made them. The same graphics show up in picture packs
 and in National-made publicity photos  Mine's got a 1951 date stamp on the back

I'm guessing they are from the 1950s-60s.
8x10" photos with those style of signatures were sold via magazine ads or catalog in around then. I know of no formal catalog designation for them, but you see them around. Last edited by drcy; 06-07-2021 at 12:45 AM.
