I just came across this 1933 PX3 Double Header pin that was slabbed by SGC. There was no grade or title, just the word "SAMPLE".
Does anyone know what this actually means? |

I've never seen that before. Maybe SGC purchased and slabbed some things just to test out different slab configurations?

Looks like a sample label that accidentally got used for an item. Quality control was a bit lax that day evidently.
