Civil War Era Axe heads
I found these in my front yard/field. the axe heads are all cleaned, I sent in a North Carolina Archaeological Citizen Scientist Record Form to the Office of State Archaeology/Division of Archives. I also did some research and found there was a skirmish outside of Snow Hill, Greene County but location and details are unknown. I had contacted them prior with pictures and they agreed the axe heads are Civil War era and in response, provided me the link to fill out the said form. One axe head is stamped with U and a partial S for US
