FS: Ty Cobb Original Colorized Photo (from personal collection)
Hello everyone!
Up for sale is a photograph of Ty Cobb, which comes out of his personal collection. This particular photograph came from a group of photographs that were, at one time, gifted by Cobb to one of his lifelong friends, Dr. Stewart Brown. The photo is an original and colorized - while it is unknown as to the printing year, it is certainly unique to see a colorized print from the decades preceding Cobb's passing. It measures approx. 8.5 by 7.5 inches. Great overall (what looks to be from his earlier days in Detroit) photo of Cobb, only made that much special given that it was owned by the baseball legend himself. Comes with a copy of the letter of provenance from Dr. Brown's daughter. Feel free to reach out with any questions, as I'd be happy to address any that you may have. Thanks! SOLD!
