Default SGC or PSA????

Hi Everyone! I am starting to think SGC grading is more accurate than PSA. Since I am new to collecting, I am curious what you, the experts think. Everyone is welcome to comment, as I think this will benefit us all. Looking forward to what everyone has to say. Also, PSA has a good population report, but I am struggling to find where SGC reports on cards. Any help is appreciated, and ALL FEEDBACK IS WELCOME!!!!

I say always buy the card not the holder, but having said that, PSA is much preferred and has a higher re sale value. If you see a great card in a SGC holder and you want it- grab it. If you're doing this strictly for money, purchase PSA cards.

There's no such thing as "accurate". Accurate to what? It's totally subjective and relative. I think the only word that really can apply is consistent. And to me SGC is more consistent in their grading. That said, I'll still buy a nice looking PSA card. Just buy the card, not the grade.

+1. A big fan of buying what you like.

Probably better to be on the general thread versus B/S/T but I think you can find examples of each which look better/worse for the grade in any of the grading companies. That said, add another +1 to the buy the card versus the slab.

I was curious. Just got a Johnny Evers Chicago Jersey graded SGC 80/6 that looks amazing, for quite the deal. It looks to me to be in better condition that a PSA 6 I am looking at on EBay.
