Nice lot of 1921 and 1922 Paul Thompson portraits featuring seven members of the World Champion New York Giants. Lot includes both a reversed AND a corrected shot of Bill Cunningham. Also includes a portrait of Bud Heine who only appeared in ONE major league game - October 1, 1921. Heine did not record a hit but he did record a single putout. Bud Clancy also appears in a Giants uniform in this lot, though he never appeared in a game for the Giants.

All backs are similar to the one shown below with player's name, Paul Thompson stamping, and Baseball Magazine hologram.

These images are part of a much larger series of portraits Paul Thompson's agency shot of the 1921 and 1922 Giants. Others in the series have been sold by several auction houses and periodically do pop-up for sale.
