"A small wrinkle along the bottom border on the front contributes to the assigned grade."

I guess 5's can't have wrinkles? I'm sure it'll sell for the price of a 5+

I saw that in the description. It has to be very faint because I can't see it.

I actually had a Chipper Jones Score rookie that I submitted (shaddup) back in the early days on which I missed a wrinkle. It got a "6"

I do wish they'd be more specific about the location and/or orientation of the wrinkle. "along the bottom border" makes it tough to locate.

I'm sure like any crease or wrinkle, a simple angled photo would easily pick it up.

I am not at all saying there is deception, but the way most people scan cards today, with very bright scans, it can mask wrinkles.

This is true. I’ve actually run into this with REA before. Wrinkles and light creases do not show on their scans.

A PSA 4 card's corners may be slightly rounded. Surface wear is noticeable but modest. The card may have light scuffing or light scratches. Some original gloss will be retained. Borders may be slightly off-white. A light crease may be visible. Centering must be 85/15 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back.

The Jackie and Mantle would have been 6s or higher not too long ago.

To be fair, through a slab it can be very hard to make a light wrinkle show up.

For sure, I’m not suggesting it’s intentional. They don’t show up in my own personal scans.
