Not just Bonds 80s and 90s cards seem to be on the rise from the few I've seen. Bonds, Clemens, Gwynn, Griffey, Jeter, Ripken, etc.

This has been going on for the past few years.

Check out the prices on PSA 10's of Clemens and McGwire from the 1985 Topps Tiffany.

The kids of the 1980s-1990s are (were?) coming into their prime earning years. Those of us who revere Aaron, Ryan, Bench, etc., are familiar with that life cycle change.

Bonds only has 2 more years of eligibility - So much of it is the gamble - like buying a lottery ticket.

I was a big bonds fan back in the day and am still buying RCs today to sort of "dollar cost average" the big prices I paid previous to and up to the year he won the HR title. If he manages to "squeeze" into HOF - all is good

I have a signed baseball. He is historic. But circumstances should keep him out of the HOF. Aaron is still my hero.

I was watching and 89 ud griffey psa 10 out of curiosity and it just closed at almost 1100. They were readily available at 200 when I picked up a couple. And it seems relatively recent that I remember a discussion of them being over priced at 500.

I would have guessed modern cards would be hit hardest between the trimming scandel as well as grading favouritism concerns but it seems the opposite has happened.

His 86 Topps regular PSA 10 jumped huge while Tiffany slowly going up. I think this is the last chance to grab the tiffany before the spike
