Not piling on, but these are the HSN scandal set as white borders. The letter adds to the proof as it was enclosed with the HSN sets. Neat piece of history, but not period.
This is a nice write up on the NBA lawsuit - https://jordancards.com/blog/the-rea...rt-steve-taft/ The sale posted by Blackie has them at a little over a 100 as it was a neat piece of card collecting history.
