MLB is season is delayed 2 weeks.... Who would you take in the competitive NL East? Braves, Nats, Phillies, or Mets.... Last year the Braves ran away with it, and as usual, got knocked out in the first round. The Nats won the World Series even though they finished miles behind Atlanta, go figure....

Hate to say it but I would think the season is going to be delayed much more than two weeks.

I will take the Braves. My worry is this season could turn out like 1981 or we have no baseball at all.

Having lived in the DC suburbs of VA for all of my 76+ years, I'm so thrilled that my home-town team finally won a WS Championship during my lifetime!
Of course, I'd like my Nationals to win the NL East, but I wouldn't bet anything meaningful on it. Washington has very good starting pitching, seemingly much better relief pitching than last year, and a solid defense. What I fear they may by lacking is enough hitting, with Anthony Rendon, their best hitter last year, having departed during free agency. If Juan Soto hits 40+ homers and bats .310+, maybe they will have just enough hitting, plus the Nats will have to win a high percentage of close games.

A bigger challenge would be guessing the second place team and potential wild card. Braves win it easy... Next

Maybe this is the appropriate 'add-on' to the worst off-season in recent memory.

Mets pitching front to back could be devastating, and the longer the delay the better for them, less time to get hurt.
