Babe Ruth Items for Sale
Hi-
I have the following Babe Ruth items for sale. Please let me know if you are interested, need better photos, or if you have any questions. I will combine lots and give a better price if you want more than one. Please see the pictures and scans below for condition details (or email me with any questions). 1. 4 ads featuring items Ruth endorsed during his playing days. There is one for the Bam Bee No board game (1922), a Louisville Slugger ad from 1922, and two Reach Home Run Special ads from 1927 and 1928. 40.00 delivered 2. 23 clippings, pages, and newspaper sections showing Ruth during his playing days. They range from 1922 (Herald) through the mid 1930s (the last several show him as a Boston Brave). There are 19 in uniform and 4 in other clothing. 150.00 delivered 3. 11 clippings, pages, etc. post career. The first shows Ruth as a Dodger, a few showing his decline and death, and 3 from the 50s/60s. 65.00 delivered 4. Smitty at the Ball Game book 1929. Cracks on front cover. 75.00 delivered 5. 1932? Quaker Oats and watch grouping a. 5 ads, several showing premiums. b. 3 booklets c. pocket knife d. watch head (scratches on top) PENDING e. Quaker Oats book (glue stain on cover and other minor issues) 350.00 delivered (please note this is the exact same group I posted a week or two ago with a few more items added and at a reduced price as I was too high the last time). I do not think it works but yes, I will sell it separately. I will send a few pictures to your email later tonight or tomorrow so you can get a better idea of the condition (if the scan isn't good enough). I will email you the price for it as well.
