...but also look both ways before listing something on ebay.
Take a gander at the laughable price differential between the unsuitably expensive 1973 Kellogg's PSA 10 cards of Rose and Palmer and the cards that are listed directly before and after them. Sadly, GEM MT 10's from this set are pretty easy to come by (I was looking to fill some holes when I ran across these examples), but these sellers didn't seem to do any research whatsoever when formulating their pricing strategies. What are they thinking, "My 10 clearly has much greater eye appeal than your 10!!"????? (On a side note, it's funny that although they are being sold by different sellers, the first two Roses have consecutive cert. numbers, so they were obviously submitted by the same person. I guess the second card was bought from the first seller, and the buyer immediately said to himself, "I can definitely sell this for 7.5 times as much as I paid for it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yessssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!") Anyway, this made me chuckle. 1973kelloggs1.jpg 1973kelloggs2.jpg

I notice this type of thing all the time with cards I'm looking at on eBay. I'm always baffled when I see a seller selling the same exact card for 10 times the price in a search where the two cards are showing up right next to each other.

True. And some guys have cards listed for 10x what they sell for. But I guess it's their card, they can ask what they want to for them.
I'm starting to think eBay is just a museum for some people to show off their collection. They have no intention to sell. Either that, or they list super high prices, and if someone hits the BIN, then so be it.

I would agree that the '73 Kellogs cards can be easily found in ridiculously high grade. I once got a Nolan Ryan from a seller that I thought was way better than described raw, it would have probably been at least an 8.
