Default Rare 1940s Wax Packs for Sale

Net 54:

I have updated my list of packs that I currently have for sale as I added 14 mostly rare packs and removed all packs that were sold since June, mostly at the National Sports Collectors Convention.

Beginning with this list, I am no longer attaching the complete list; to get a copy of the 11-page list of wax packs I have for sale, you will have to do one of two things: (1) send me an e-mail noting where you want the list to be sent; my e-mail is dynamictwo@aol.com, or (2) call me on 914-522-3853 -- my cell. Then I will send you the complete list with all of their prices.

The 14 packs that I turned up in the last 4 months include: (all 5 cent packs)

1948 Leaf Football

1948 Bowman Football

1948/49 Leaf Baseball

1949 Bowman PCL Baseball

1953 Bowman Color Baseball

1953 Bowman Football

1953/54 Parkhurst Hockey

1959 Fleer Three Stooges

1961 Fleer Basketball

1962/63 Parkhurst Hockey

1966/67 Topps Hockey (Bobby Orr rookie series)

1967 Leaf Star Trek

1968/69 Topps Hockey

1968/69 Topps Hockey

****************

Thanks for your continued interest.

Ted - Will send scans and prices.

Also agreed. I concluded the same - 1949 B PCL may be the only one that still exists.

Thank you Net 54 friends - have sold 5 packs from my latest list of 14?new packs.

Default out of curiosity

How many cards were in a pack of 1948 Leaf baseball cards? I put together the set and it never crossed my mind to research that! What a find! I would never have the self control to not tear into them!

Brian, To be honest with you, I don't know. I sold that pack already but the pix I took of it don't show a card count on the wrapper. My guess would be 5 cards (possibly 7 cards) but I would leave that answer to some of our Net 54 experts. Thanks, Steve
