13 cards from the 1949 Sommer & Kaufmann set of the Pacific Coast League SF Seals. Issued by the local clothing chain, these B&W cards measure approx 2x3 inches and are less common than the similar Remar Bread & Smiths Clothing cards from the same era.
Several of the players have MLB experience. The backgrounds are interesting to me since they show other players warming up and some nice views of the playing field.

The card fronts still maintain lots of the original gloss, but the backs all have varying degrees of album paper remnants. No paper loss and the last scan shows progression from smallest amt to the largest amt of album paper.
