#407 suggests 1952, but it’s just a guess

The number probably has to do with the printing/shipping lot number or box number and nothing to do with the number of cards in the set.

I saw one of these more complete and If I remember correctly it was a 1960 box. I took pictures I will see if I can find them.

The Baseball and color scheme do resemble the 1960 Topps Wrapper shown in this link: (not mine)

That looks like the exact same box as from the site. Weird.
Oh. I see what he did there.

pictures I had were of the Huggins and scott Case that they identify as a 1963. If you look at the link both the 1960 and 1963 cases look the same.. ?? So I think you are closer.

Based on the link provided, it is a 1960 case. The 1963 case is similar but with a few minor differences in the layout of the wording..... check em out and you will agree. Great item!

Oops. Someone already posted it. Last edited by DHogan; 11-22-2018 at 10:59 PM. |

It is interesting that the website shows the same type of container for both 1960 and 1963. Something is screwed up.
The box that is pictured for 1960 is the exact same box that is shown in the OP's post. Mmm.
