1964 Topps Football "uncommon common"
A good number of card collectors are unaware that a common player in the 1964 Topps Football set, #48 Ernie Barnes, went on to become a giant of the art world.

Great write up, Jason. I own a couple of those albums and hed never really thought about the artist's background other than to admire his work. thanks for posting.
