Post a pic here and get free opinions from people who know Ruth better than the authentication companies. Then if it's good send it in to the company of your choice. If it's not good you save some money.

Noll (the OP) and I have been in contact a bit before this thread was started. But as I have told him in those emails, coming forward is his prerogative. I just want to say, with only 1 post behind him, he is a real person in need of an authenticator, as he says. I know there can't be much help if he won't post other information but it's his call.

Absolutely he doesn't have to post the image. That is certainly his call. Figured it could save him some $$ if it's an obvious fake, which outnumber the real thing at least 10 to 1.

If he wants to go straight to authentication, certainly PSA/DNA or JSA will help best if it ever goes to auction. SGC and Beckett are both options as well.

One more thing. If you could post the stamping on the ball, that might be helpful in terms of dating it as well.
