I have always been curious as to why the T205 set is considered to be a 1911 issue, mainly because of the New York American team is designated as the Yankees and they were not officially the Yankees until 1913. Was the Yankees moniker a nickname but not official prior to 1913?
I am sure there is a good answer but as long as I have been around have not seen it. Thanks for any help, Lee
