Default 1915 Rabbit Maranville Cracker Jack card

Today I received my Rabbit Maranville card from Dean’s Cards. I am well pleased with it and it leaves me now with only 4 more to go to complete the Boston Braves sub set:
Herbert Moran
Charles Schmidt
George Tyler
Richard Rudolph

Luckily, I got the rest of the cards years ago( like Evers). I think the 1914/15 Cracker Jacks are the best of the era, certainly, the most attractive. Gotta love those stains! Anyway, enjoy!

Awesome card! I collect the '14s and have only one raw CJ Donie Bush. The Philly Show only had a few handfuls >20 with Knabe being the only raw '14 CJ.that I saw.

Thank you…..raw is the only way most of us can afford the higher end cards these days.
I love these Cracker Jack cards , both 14 and 15. Glad I started collecting them in early 1990….wish I would have kept going….focused more on T206’s , of which I have well over 450.

I think so as well, certainly good enough for me. Hopefully I can find the last 4 in the subset and not break the bank!

Thank you James and Kent. Out of the five needed, I thought this one was going to be the hardest to get at a reasonable price…..I lucked out. Glad I started collecting these again….Cracker Jack did it right!

Perfect way to get a card that is clean with good colors. Pin hole would kill the technical grade but i am fine with card like that. Buy the card not the flip.

Yes James, I agree. And there are still quite a few cards like this out there, that are clean, good color, not perfect, but a solid collectible card that you can afford and have fun building the collection.

I agree with this completely. I am taking my time and being myself (cheap) and still looking for nice HOF examples of each year, with great eye appeal and low technical grades. The search is a lot of the fun.

This is from my last collection.. I don't own it any longer but an example like this would be great.

Absolutely Leon……it definitely isn’t worth it unless it’s fun. Today , I got this GR PR Joe Connolly card from Tonyetrade. Like the Maranville, nice color and a very acceptable card, with just enough molasses stain to make it amazing. If this is a graded “Poor” card, I’ll collect them all day long……..getting closer to that Braves set!
