It's been a long while since we've seen these, and Carlton's recent great post got me excited to do it again...
Post your Baseball (or sports-related) Games. Pre-war and post-war are both ok... Arcade Games, Trade Stimulators and Board Games are all fair game!

WOW! Amazing items, Mike and Greg!
Clint... The Helmet is Tony Perez' with original Reds Gift Shop Letter, stating it is one of three that he wore during the 1975 season and through the World Series. Epic season, if you're a Reds Fan. The Cleats are Perez' from his second stint as a Red (1984-86) The 1B Mitt is Perez' (circa 1980-82, with Boston) The Black Glove was Joe Morgan's, with a Provenance Letter from former Umpire, Eric Gregg. Pretty amazing how small the Little Joe Glove is... and with leather softer than a baby's behind! Getting back on-topic... Here is the earliest-known Baseball Bagatelle Game (Nash), plus another super rare one. The "Pin the Ball on the Bat" Game features a cool image of LaJoie.

We've discussed it before, but your Waghter's game is ridiculous Mark! I've always loved that game! One of the most visually stunning 19th century games in my opinion. New old stock 1927 Psychic Bas Ball game with all scorecards and instructions present. The cards still have cellophane on them. Apparently they had Psychic Base Ball tournaments across the country as Lou Gehrig is pictured congratulating a winner.

Thanks for starting this thread, Mark -- possibly our favorite (inevitably) in our seven years on board here!
Gotta say we really like your Wachter's (and we don't say that to many guys  ). Really enviable pieces shown by everyone so far! Greg -- is there any way we could prevail upon you to scan the inside and back pages of the Ty Cobb rule book for us? Bob -- Kollmorgen's nephew and the son of You Pitch creator Ken Cook both contributed some background info about those games at our own Forum. Brent -- we've never seen the little blue-and-red game seen at the lower right of your hockey display. Could you give us a little more information about it? Our own collections have more quantity than quality, and at least two other guys on board here have game collections the quality of which dwarfs ours -- but since it's so rare in here that we have any excuse to show off our stuff, and before those other guys chime in with exceptionally hard acts to follow and make us look like pikers, here are just a few of our favorites, with several more not present due to us not having decent photos of them... hope nobody minds...  -  Fan Craze, 1904 -- Inside Baseball, 1910s  -  Peg Base Ball, 1908-24 -- Mather's Parlor Base Ball Game, 1906  Play Ball ~ Everybody's Game, 1925  -  Bam-Bee-No ~ The National Game, 1921 -- American Base Ball ~ The National Game, 1930s  -  The American Game ~ Baseball, 1932 -- Managers' Baseball Game, 1949

Butch- That's an amazing Game assortment. Phenomenal! Jim- That's my very favorite of all the "Pitch & Hit" Pinball Games. I still remember as a kid, the thrill of getting the ball up the ramp, and into the Grand Slam well. The recessed "baserunners" are great, too. Just magical!

agree about the grand slam
bought one in a Hunt auction long ago - was a struggle to get it in my car and then up the stairs by myself - but the memories of playing it at a great arcade on 52nd and Broadway in my misspent youth was a driving force. I sold it after a bit - worried I couldn't make the small repairs that might be needed along the way. Some super graphics on many of the game fronts you guys have posted. Sweet stuff.

These are my Ultra Machine batting games from the 70s. The beat up one has Sadaharu Oh and Tabuchi on it.
They were both made by Nintendo (as you can tell from the inscribed bat) back before it became a famous video game company.

The game is Canadian, it was produced by Somerset. I'm guessing late-1930s to mid-1940s. I've seen a couple examples over the years. .... And by the way, great selection of games you posted Butch. Cheers. Brent

Brent -- and Mark -- thanks very much for the kind words. We feel a little awkward sometimes trotting out our "favorites,"
since several of them are undeniably in beat-to-all-heck shape. But as much as we're sticklers for condition on more commonly available games, we put a premium on the rare and unusual, and in almost thirty years of collecting and researching, we've seen only a lone example of a couple of those and maybe two or three examples of another half dozen among them. Brent, big thanks also for the additional pic and information on the Somerset Hockey Game! You're sure that's Somerset, right?, not Somerville, which turned out some baseball and football games for the Canadian market in that same era?

19th Century Base Ball Games
Rekindling this thread, as well as my collection. My collection of 19th Century and early 20th Century baseball cards and memorabilia took a backseat to family and career for 20+ years. I've really enjoyed getting back into it over the last several months, including seeing and learning about the many outstanding items in your collections.
I've decided to focus on the highly graphic 19th Century Base Ball Games. Here's what I have so far...some acquired 20+ years ago and some recently.
