Sitting at my desk less than a mile away. New Yorkers always on alert with their eyes open for pretty much anything to happen, so very little if any reaction I've seen. Business as usual. Some twisted idiot wants to drive a car up on the sidewalk all the planning in the world isn't going to stop him unfortunately.

I was walking on that bike path this weekend. And spent time at the memorial fountains by One World Trade and said to my wife, this would be the spot for a terrorist to target. Hundreds if not thousands of people milling around and very little visible security presence. Then a couple days later one hits just a few blocks away. Scary. I always try to be alert.
