FS: Hugh Casey Signed 6x9 Photo to Cookie Lavagetto
I am selling an extremely rare 6x9 signed photo of Hugh Casey, the great Dodgers' reliever who passed away in 1951. The photo originates from the collection of Dodger Cookie Lavagetto, and Casey inscribed the photo to Lavagetto with a decidedly non-PC inscription:
"To my good friend who is the blackest man in baseball Hugh Casey" The photo is signed very nicely in blue fountain pen, with a unique image of Casey in pitching form. There is some minor wear to the corners and edges, but overall, the photo is in very good condition. I am looking for $550 DLVD for this very unique photo!
