The key could be in identifying what that kid in the lower right corner is handing him. I imagine one of the pictures on that paper is our unknown fellow.

It looks like the three adults are in line to board a train from Honolulu to San Francisco. The deckle edged photo would suggest 1969 as the date. But I could be wrong. ![]()

I am thinking movie star. The boy seems to be holding something with three posed images, none of which seems to be sports related.
