Ruth shattered every homerun record that existed in his lifetime. That's a lot of ticket stubs. As cool as a walk off grand slam is, I don't see this vaulting into some high value piece because of the slam. Just my opinion and someone could tell me I'm dead wrong.

the rarity could be that a 1000 people attended which may not compute to very high dollars
but there are a couple of first time events ever at Yankee Stadium which could
make it more attractive to some

I agree. If you use incredibly selective criteria, you can make anything seem incredibly special. I am sure that it has some value being that it is a Yankees ticket and a Ruth home run, but I am just not seeing any special significance compared with any other Ruth home run.

I think the other thing that keeps it from vaulting into the higher end price range is that it is a press ticket, not a regular fan ticket. Yes there are fewer of these than the others, but most collectors, IMO, would prefer a regular issue game tickets over any special tickets.
Good luck with it.
