Posting pictures on our board, friendly reminder

As a friendly notice I want to make sure members know that when posting a picture on our board it is best posted as a .jpg image. That image should be a few hundred K or smaller and our s/w will crop it fine.

The requests for help which I see almost daily, concerning posting pics, is that folks want to post them from their phones or other tablet type devices. The pictures on those devices are, many times, not saved in the correct file type format to load in our s/w or they are way, way too big (when adjusted to a .jpg image from whatever they are in). I generally get 2MB+ size files to help with. Those won't load, being that large, and I resize them and they are fine.
Let me repeat, almost every time there is a picture posting issue it is one of those problems. Members need to resize their images and/or change their file types....or buy a computer.
