I have seen the examples of these Royal Tailors pieces with Cobb or Matty or WaJo dressed in suits, but have never come accross another example like this one. It depicts Connie Mack (saying Manager Americal League Champions) and George Stallings (saying Manager World Champions) in suits talking, and also a playing image of a member of the Philadelphia A's at bat...possibly Amos Strunk.
The other examples with Cobb, Matty etc did not contain swatches and were for selling suits. This one contains swatches and says Royal Tailors is "America's Premier Base Ball Uniform Service". Measuring a huge 19x22, this is a tremendous man cave item. Also a very nice item for collectors of the 1914 Miracle Braves. Overall in "good" condition with a water like stain near the A's batter's (shoe to his hip). A couple of smaller scrapes or scratches, but the majority of it is noce and clean. ![]() Asking $325 delivered. Please PM if interested. Tom C |
