Mays Macgregor glove question.
I am not a glove collector, this was my glove from childhood, 1958 or 1959. My question concerns the "WM" on the heel. I have tried to find others with this marking and have only found things like G22 etc., no "WM". Any information appreciated. Apologize in advance for photo.

Hi Bruce. Your glove was probably a special order of some kind for the store that it was purchased from. It was a common practice. Yours probably differs in some way from the standard, comparable Mays model available from Macgregor. I'm not sure what that change might be though could be anything from leather type and quality to the design of the web or back strap.
