When I acquired this W501-Type 2 card of HOFer Ed Roush via eBay along with similar cards of WaJo and Sam Rice, they were all mis-identified by the seller as being W575-1 cards. Someone, presumably a previous owner who knew what they were, had marked in pencil the W501-Type 1 card number in the upper right corner of each of these 3 cards - this is exactly where the printed card number appears on a W501-Type 1 card. The W501-Type 2 cards are among those cards considered to be related to the W575-1 cards, as mentioned by Rhett Y. in post #24 of this current thread: http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=234564
This would be an ideal addition to a HOF type card collection. $75 delivered. Val Last edited by ValKehl; 02-01-2017 at 09:08 PM. |
