| Propiedad De La Prensa - Johnny Podres

Does anybody know what these were used for? I've had a few of them. I think I still have a Frank Robinson, but I can't find it right now. They are about the same size as early Topps cards. Because of the embossed fronts and what I assume are publishing dates on the back would they have been used for printing images in newspapers (even though the image is not reversed)?

They're for making rubber "plates" to print the pictures in something, probably a newspaper or magazine. They should exist with other publications names on them since most of the time they were provided by an image service. Steve B |
