Default ** New photos of Ty Cobb T206 from yesterday **

I received this card after my father passed away, Its been in our family for 30 plus years. I'm now wondering if it's authentic and what it could be worth.

I feel it is real and will probably grade a 2 (maybe a 3) based on the crease in the lower right corner

I am not an expert on this, but photos look MUCH better than the others! Good luck.

I have a PSA 4 Red Cobb and that seems legit to me. I'm thinking it would grade as a nicely-presenting PSA 3.

Yep, it's real. Old bb cards now typically get graded by a service that authenticates it. The card looks great but due to their parameters that they and our hobby uses, it probably would grade a 2 or 3 out of 10. Value is roughly $2k-2,500. Hope this helps.

You see what happens when you post better pics, you get answers. Yesterday was a joke, some people were saying it was real, others saying 100% fake, the truth being, no one was able to tell. From what I see today, nice card, the lower right crease hurts the value. It should be one a nice 2 - 2 1/2 grade card. If you check eBay, you'll see 2 grades with asking prices from $1,300 to $2,500. It's worth what someone will pay in that range.
