FS: Signed Jim Thorpe Moccasin Sole With Full JSA LOA - SOLD
Jim Thorpe signed items are tough enough to find...but to find one that ties in to his Native American heritage??
This is a one of a kind item without question. In the early 1950's, Thorpe was fitted for a customized moccasin. He signed the sole and also added the address to which the pair of moccasins should be sent. The full JSA LOA states that the autograph is a genuine one, and that the address was placed on the moccasin sole by Jim Thorpe. There is some scratching that affects a part of the signature and address. However, the uniqueness of the piece, as well as its tie in with his Native American heritage, makes that easier to overlook. Asking delivered.
