Default $500 for best card

Hey guys so been out of the game for a while now. Haven't bought a thing. I am looking to spend $500 on a solid graded card. By solid I mean something great to put into my new collection. Starting fresh. Post some photos guys money's hot in hand so first nice card gets the money. Prefer 1 card but open to possibly 2. Before you all ask what I like well nothing special HOFers are a plus but open to a good investment. I do wanna stay in prewar though guys tobacco always good. Who wants it?

Def like the matty for sure. Greg not a fan of the sporting life cards myself but very nice graded card for sure. I'm going to see what will unfold this week before I jump to anything but JCC6252 that's a pretty sweet card for sure and def interested.

Thanks A.J.
Jesse, I'm in no hurry. I figured I'd set the bar at a decent level, and see what else pops up. This particular Matty came from a fellow board member last year, so let's keep it in the family!

Money is still available. Giving this a week probably then I'll make a decision. Don't be afraid to make an offer.

+1, hard to beat for $500. I would guess any Cobb in that range wouldn't be in the best shape. That Matty is a nice looking card.

I'll throw this card in the mix. (if from California, I would need to charge sales tax, however.)

Good luck. Sounds like you'll end up with a nice card either way.

Don't know if you're into oddity cards, but this Crofts Danny Murphy card is probably unique. Alternatively, I can offer you a splendid T202 card with Joe Jackson sliding into third base in the center panel.
