FS: May 1942 Navy Relief Game Ticket Stub Dodgers Vs. Giants
Very interesting and rare ticket stub from a special game played between the Giants and Dodgers on May 8, 1942. This was an officia game, won by the Dodgers 7-6. Five future HOFers played in the game: Mel Ott, Johnny Mize, Pee Wee Reese, Ducky Medwick and Arky Vaughan. Most importantly, a record paying crowd at Ebbetts Field saw the proceeds of the game entirely go to the Navy Relief Fund.
This is a wonderful piece of baseball and military history. It is the first of its kind that I have seen. Asking $90 delivered.   Tom C
