Hi-
I recently purchased the bat pictured below. It is a Hillerich and Son earliest label type bat (although the label is etched not stenciled). It has what looks like a bullet shaped barrel top. When I purchased it I assumed it was carved this way after it left the factory. Now, I am not 100% sure. I tried to find other examples of Hillerich bats with a bullet type barrel top. The closest I could find was an example of a ball balanced bat but the knob on that bat is ball shaped. Could anyone please provide any additional information or details regarding this bat? Thanks, Alan |
