Is the Willie Keeler El Principe de Gales With Bat that rare?
I recently got one of these graded in my last batch from PSA and was shocked to see what the VCP was for this card in PSA 2 and PSA 4 (as there were no recent sales of PSA 3 at the time I looked)
So my question to the T206 Experts is...what is the deal with this one? Is it really that tough - hence the high price?

Not as much rare as it is desirable. The prices from recent auction houses is way high and I would suspect it was the whole "2 guys really wanted it" more than it being rare.
Between SGC and PSA, there are about 20 graded Keeler batting with EPDG backs. That's pretty high for EPDG but of course HOFers are graded more often than commons. Live Auctioneers showed an SGC 60 sold at the January Saco auction for 650. Lets see some scans! Last edited by Thromdog; 06-23-2015 at 08:16 PM.
