1949 Boston Braves Jersey of Eddie Stanky fromGoldin Auctions
Hi All.......just received the 1949 Eddie Stanky Boston Braves jersey I won on the recent Goldin Auction.
What I love about this jersey is he played for all my favorite teams....the Cubs, Robinson's Rookie year with the Dodgers, Bobby Thomson's "Shot heard round the world " Giants and Willie's Rookie year and, of course the Boston Braves. While not a perfect example, one thing, the sleeve patch is a reproduction, zipper does not function, etc.....but....it will look great displayed on the Boston Braves section of the room.It came from Mears...see tag. The display cabinet will be here next week.
