Pretty strange. Whoever was doing the slabbing must have been asleep or something.

Several things can affect it, even post slabbing. A board member had several very nice t207 slabbed a few years ago and received pretty high grades. On his return home via plane, the cards all moved in the holders like the one in the scan, apparently atmospheric pressure at altitude changed and the holder basically expanded allowing the cards to float around. He did not fly commercial so there was no baggage handling or other mishandling and all of his other slabs were fine, just the new ones were affected. PSA did make him whole on the cards.
