Fs-1957 World Series game used ball
Cool ball with a nice even coat of shellack. Ball is a reach Harrington oak ball.
Tough to interpret the names (I assume the original owner and his friends),but it is clearly dated 10/9/57 6th game,foul fly ball World Series. The World Series has been written over in a darker ink, but is definitely under the shellack. Two other names on side panels, both varying the date of 10-9-57 Game was played at Yankee stadium. The yanks won behind the pitching of bob turkey and homers by hank Bauer and yogi Berra. Hank Aaron also hit his 3rd home run of the series during this game, and it turned out to be the final World Series homer of his career $65 pp gift shipped Last edited by daves_resale_shop; 04-20-2015 at 06:10 PM.
