Willie Mays PSA DNA Red Flip... questions
(note: I posted this over in Modern Baseball Cards Forum (1980-Present) first, before realizing there was an auto forum)
I don't collect autos. (Not yet at least). So I won a lot of cards and in the lot is a 1972 IA Willie Mays PSA/DNA (Red Flip) I'm probably going to sell it off when the lot does get into my hands, but I want to learn more about in the process. Here's some questions I have about this card and others... any response is much appreciated! How much does the year/scarcity of the card affect the the value? How much does the "grade/eye appeal" of the card itself affect value? Does the type of writing utensil have any affect on value, i.e. blue vs black, pen vs marker? Is there anything else that I should know or be intrigued by? Lastly, if you had to put a range of value of the card, what would it be? Thanks, fellas!
