With the 1927 ring I just acquired from Heritage, I have the two rings Lou Gehrig would have been awarded in his first and last World Series appearances. Here are what those rings looked like:
The second photo are various vintage Yankee rings. They include: 1927, 1938, 1939, 1949, 1952, 1953 (the "5"), 1958 World championship rings, and 1957 and 1964 AL Championship rings. The AL championship rings are from World Series losses and are the top-hat designs. |
