I completed my 1933 George C. Miller set a couple months ago and just finished throwing a website together. What else is there to do in the middle of a blizzard?

Well done. I think you must have gone to the Dark Side and back to have completed the Miller set. How tough was the Andrews card? Are there any out there that have not been cancelled? I have never even have had sight of one of the more elusive chase cards.

Nice set Brad! I bailed on it about 2/3 of the way thru and still regret it.
John, supposedly there are 1-2 uncancelled Andrews, but I've combed thru 20 years of auction catalogs and never seen it offered. Mine was cut cancelled and it wasn't super hard, just a bit expensive.

A diamond-punched Ivy Andrews card came up on eBay in July 2005. It sold for $3500. See the post below.

Here is a link to a net54 post regarding the diamond-punched Ivy Andrews card that ended on eBay in July 2005. The card ended at $3500. I can't imagine how much an uncancelled card would have sold for if this diamond-punched card went for $3500.

Great looking set Brad, good job. I think there are about three uncut Andrews cards out there. One is in bad shape, one has the punch holes, and the other is very nice condition. The nice one was offered at auction(I'm thinking REA or Mastro) and did not sell at auction due to high min. bid. The late Gerry Glasser(RIP) told me he bought the card in a private sale soon after the auction.

I saw an uncut Andrews card in 1990. It belonged to the widow of ivy Andrews. She had it amongst a display of amazing 1930s Yankees artifacts...including personalized Christmas cards from babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Amazing stuff. I would be really interested in knowing who has this collection now.

Would have added a lot to the set if Ruth and Gehrig had made it past the photo and artwork stage and into distribution. This artwork is much more impressive in hand.
