I have two signed non baseballs in my collection. Each one was signed by one of my daughters and given to me for Father's Day a few years ago. I plan on adding a third when my 2 year old can start to write.

I love collecting signatures on baseballs...and I have a few non-baseball ones...here are a few:
Pete Docter - Pixar Artist ![]() Jeff Pidgeon - Pixar Artist ![]() Stan Lee ![]() Eugene Kranz - Apollo 13 Flight Director ![]() Fred Haise - Apollo 13 Lunar Module Pilot ![]() John Glenn ![]() Michael Jordan - Compulsive Gambler ![]() George Mitchell - "The Mitchell Report" ![]() This is a little different, but each year we go to Disney and we try to get a baseball signed by the characters as a keepsake: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I never really understood the appeal of having someone not related to baseball in any way sign a baseball. That's just me. Why anyone would want Betty White or some world renowned heart surgeon to sign a baseball is beyond me. Not knocking them as there is a demand and a market for them, it's just not for me.
That said, I did see one that I bid on at auction that I would have loved to have kept. It was signed by Tug McGraw and Tim McGraw as well as Faith Hill. I love the family aspect with the deceased father on the ball with his son and daughter in law. Plus Faith Hill is just so fine. So....yeah. I didn't get it as I think it went for over $100 and I couldn't do that. But that is one I would have kept. Tom C Last edited by btcarfagno; 01-16-2015 at 07:42 AM. |
