Topps did not issue World Series cards in the 1966 set?
I wonder if there would be any way we could get up a petition to have them put one out...since 2015 would be the 50th Anniversary of the '65 Series.

I've wondered about it for almost 50 years. I grew up in Minnesota and 1966 was my first year of collecting. My mom brought home a big box of cards won at a rummage sale that contained mostly '65s but also some from the prior 4 years. There were several World series cards from the 65 set, some from the '63 set and one from '64 (the Willie Davis card). I was disappointed that there were none in my wax packs from '66 as I really wanted to see the Twins represented, but I figured they were hit and miss. Then as I keep collecting I see they are the only set without the World Series cards and I feel cheated. I always wondered if it was because the Yankees were not in it that Topps left them out, only to reconsider the following year.
