Offering a 1950 Bowman Football example of San Francisco 49er halfback Verl Lillywhite out of USC, graded by SGC! Instead of the NRMT 7 this card deserves, a neatly placed pencil mark in the middle of the 9 results in the lower grade! Otherwise, this card compares to the 7's & 8's in my '50 Bowman set. Personal Confession:
Altho I got away w/ the "murder" of this card for over 50 yrs, I was finally apprehended by SGC in 2009 & have been serving my sentence every time I look at my 1950 Bowmans ever since. I've decided to end the pain by selling this BEAUTY, but it would be absolute "criminal" if it goes for only $10 and you miss out putting it in your Fine Collection and "clearing the slate". However, I admit now I'm not the "lily-white" child my Mother thought I was. Give Verl a new leash on life & bring him home! Ending this eve! Thanks and don't forget the T206 Sullivan ending tonite also!
