The 1923 Ticket Auction - Ends at 9PM CDT Saturday
Think of this auction ans a pair of free Babe Ruth cards for the price of a 91 year old ticket.
Two days only. The three items include: Babe Ruth's 1923 Banner Season Legends of New York Card - Pack Fresh  Babe Ruth - John McGraw 1923 WS Legends of New York Card - Also Pack Fresh Ticket Stub from the 1923 Princeton-Yale Football contest, my Senior year , which Yale won in a 27-0 squeaker at the Yale Bowl. The following week Yale shut out Harvard 13-0 as well completing an undefeated season. Did you know that the long axis of the football field at the Yale Bowl was designed to be perpendicular to the setting sun on Nov 15 so that receivers in the big games in November would not have to look back into the setting sun? Harvard and Princeton cannot make this claim.Make this the first championship ticket stub you own. Disclaimer: I do not think this was Babe's ticket stub, but you never know. $10 to open, $2 minimum increments, 9PM CDT sharp close on Saturday 9/27.
