Default SOLD: 1902 Phila A's Champs Team Composite

In a period frame, overall piece is 13.5" X 15.25". Most likely been in this frame since 1902. Early pics of Plank, Waddell, Mack, etc. Water damage obvious, but still a VERY nice piece.

SOLD shipped to lower 48, PP gift, Check, MO, All OK.

Thanks,
Greg

Greg- Have you ever tried to remove it from the frame? Maybe check the back to see if it has any stamping or markings ? Also, is it a photo or print? Did you check the paper stock to see if this was possibly be cut out from a magazine or guide? Also , if the paperstock is blank backed could it possibly a period supplement. Just a little surprised an advanced collector such as yourself has not attempted to investigate a little further. I would have an interest if it was removed for the frame for the purpose of inspection. The staining could very well be on the frame itself. I had a Cival War era print in an original frame that I thought was soiled and once I removed it from the frame I realized the stain was in fact soot which had seeped into the inside of the glass ( presumably caused by an old wood burning stove).
